In the time of the colony temples were built and an administrative seat where the real boxes of the King from Spain worked was.
CUTIMBO 
The archaeological complex of Cutimbo, located to 22 Km. of the city of Puno. Where evidences archaeological Pre-Inca and Inca exist; paintings 8,000 year-old rupestres, chullpas of different dimensions (funeral buildings), with representations zoomorfas on high relief. The existence of these structures explains the ingrained cult to the deads and the belief in the immortality.
JULI  | Located to 80 Km. of the city of Puno. Well-known as the small Rome of America. During the colony it was a great cultural center and religious. It conserves their urban architecture and their landscapes. It has four temples, the same ones that keep great quantity of pictorial works of the school Cusqueña and Italian. | POMATA Located to 130 Km. of the city of Puno. Denominated The philosophical Balcony of the Highland". a beautiful and extensive landscape of the lake is appreciated. During the colony it builds San Santiago's majestic temple.
